Hosted Blog
Don't have a website? Ai-Mee can give your brand a public blog of its own — no website, hosting, or developer required.
What You Get
A hosted blog is a public, search-engine-friendly blog site that Ai-Mee runs for you. It's separate from the blog integrations (Ghost, WordPress, Blogger) that publish to a site you already own — this is for brands that don't have a website at all yet.
Every hosted blog includes:
- A free subdomain at
yourbrand.ai-mee.blog, live the moment you create it - The option to connect your own custom domain later (e.g.
blog.yourbrand.com) - Every published post automatically formatted with headings, images, and a clean, readable layout
- A simple contact form so blog visitors can get in touch, with spam protection built in
- Built-in SEO: sitemaps, RSS, and structured data so search engines and AI crawlers can find and understand your content
Setting Up Your Blog
- Go to your client's page in the dashboard and find Hosted Blog
- Choose a subdomain (e.g.
acmeforacme.ai-mee.blog) and a blog title - Click Create my blog — it's live immediately
From there, ask Aimee to create blog posts the same way you'd ask for any other content. Approved posts with the "Blog" platform selected are published straight to your hosted blog.
Customising Your Blog
From the same Hosted Blog card, you can:
- Update the blog title, description, and accent colour
- Enable or disable the contact form
- Temporarily disable the whole blog without losing your posts or settings
Connecting Your Own Domain
Already have a domain and want your blog on it instead of ai-mee.blog? Add it as a custom domain from the dashboard. You'll be given a CNAME record to add at your DNS provider — once that's in place, Ai-Mee automatically issues a certificate and switches your blog over, usually within a few minutes to a few hours depending on your DNS provider.
Getting Found in Search
A hosted blog is built to be discoverable, but a couple of steps help it rank faster:
Verify with Google Search Console
Search Console tells Google your blog exists and lets you see how it performs in search. To connect it:
- Add your blog as a property in Google Search Console, choosing HTML file as the verification method
- Google gives you a filename like
google1234abcd.html— copy just the1234abcdpart - Paste it into the Verification token field on your Hosted Blog card in the dashboard, along with your blog's property URL, and save
- Back in Search Console, click Verify — Ai-Mee is already serving the file it needs to find
- Once verified, submit your sitemap (
yourblog.ai-mee.blog/sitemap.xml) from Search Console so Google indexes your posts faster
The dashboard tracks whether you've completed verification and sitemap submission, so you always know where you stand.
